The Career Coaching Programme includes 5 sessions (your career goals, skills, networking, job applications, strategy) and the Programme is designed in a way that every session is a ‘building block’ for the next one. In each session, I combine sharing my knowledge and examples from my own experiences from working at the EU, UN and the OECD and give you exercises to reflect/practice the skills that we have discussed in a session. The aim of the Programme is to train you to strategise for your career in international organisations/NGOs and is designed to provide you a holistic approach to your career development. Doing chosen sessions is not an option.

You can choose how intense you would like the Programme to be. For example, you could choose to have the sessions twice a week, or spread it over time and have it once every week or once every two weeks. The most common pace of the programme is once a week. Each career coaching lasts 1 hours, and each aims at really challenging your thinking and building up foundational skills.

If you decide to take the programme, I would expect your full dedication and commitment to the sessions: online course (2-3 hours), worksheet materials (2-6 hours depending on the session), homework (2-3 hours), full focus during the sessions. It will feel like a bootcamp!!! But I promise, after we are done, you will see the transformation in what you know and how you feel about your dream career in IOs/NGOs.

Yes! When I was a working (and a very poor!!!) student, one thing that I would always prioritise was reinvesting into my education and skills development, no matter how little cash I had. I COMPLETELY understand your position as a student or young graduate, and I’m happy to adjust to your needs. We can arrange for 2-3 payments or spread out the sessions in a way that would allow you to use up a couple of your salaries/allowances.

Before the start of the sessions, Wiola will ask you questions about your current situation and career goals. She will forward a Pre-Course Questionnaire to get to know you even better. Based on your answers, each session is personalised to your needs and goals.

Career Coaching Programme for IOs/NGOs combines the online course with 5 modules and individualized 1-1 coaching sessions following each online course module. Online Course for IOs/NGOs is a self paced course allowing you to dive deep into the world of IOs/NGOs in your own pace. No individualized 1-1 coaching sessions are offered. Both programmes include the same information, videos and exercises about IOs/NGOs.

It depends on what your objectives and career stage are. For example, if you are a student, your objective might be to get a paid traineeship within an IO/NGO in your next semester. If you have 5 years of experience and relevant skills already, you might be able to change your position or get promoted within 3 - 6 months. Check our our testimonials to see our client's results. However, I always point out that the Programmes I designed are for planning your WHOLE career, not only your next position. Sometimes, the result is related to identifying & getting a specific certificate, eg. a Masters degree, that will enable you to unlock certain positions in IOs/NGOs that might take years. The most important shift for me, is your MINDSET SHIFT. You start thinking about your career differently, more strategically and holistically from your first session. You start gaining confidence with your skills, unique pathway and big dreams, and seeing a big picture for your life and your career, rather than focusing on smaller bumps on the road. Remember that if YOU don't put effort into reflection, strategy and action, I won't be able to help you. Change starts with YOU.
